I have 2 bikes I use regularly.
A 2006 Mountain Cycle Fury set up with a MC Sin relaxed geometry shock mount for slacker geometry,Manitou Nixon fork,and Swinger 3 way air.
The other bike is a 2005 Santa Cruz Bullit with a Rock Shox Domain fork,and Monarch shock.
I also have spare coil rear shocks for both bikes. I use them when I know I want to beat the bikes a little harder :)

I like them alot. Did not know much about Haro bikes until recently. The geometry of the 18" frames seems to fit me well (6"1", ~190 lb). My wife is on a 16" Flightline, and I am building on a V5 frame for my 12 yr son. Customer support has been awesome. Jill Hamilton and Pat Crosby were very helpful on the 1x9 Mary build.

Looks like the 29er wheels can probably bite more ground than what I have now. I'll probably have to test ride it to believe. Who knows, when my Giant is about to give up, a 29er might be my next purchase.

26er and 29er is a term that references the wheel size. 26" (your conventional mtb) and 29" (which has been growing in popularity over the past couple of years). To see some 29er bikes, take a look at Niner Bikes, Turner Sultan, Ellsworth Evolve, etc. There are a lot on the market today.

Since I'm new to this, what is a 29er? Or a 26er? Need to learn more jargon I guess.

Anyway, I own a 2007 Giant 17" Xtc SE, which I'm fond of. Parts are pretty much stock, except for the Garmin 705 I just gave it :)

My favorite, old bike is a 17" 1993/4ish model Haro extreme MTB, it was alive till late last year, when people who tried to steal the bike got fed up when they cant break the lock, and trashed the bike to oblivion.

When I saw the bent body, rims, etc and the semi cut lock, I was heart broken, it's irreparable. The next day, the cleaners took the bike away :(

I have a 2005 Gaint AC with 5.3 to 6.6 inches rear travel on a 5th element shock and a 130mm manitou splice fork. The rest is stock.

Regular ride is a hardtail Ibis Mojo (oh yeah, with the hand job and Moron tubing!). It needs some components upgraded but remains a very solid and fast ride. Project bike is a Szazbo in need of major TLC.
