I made the switch. :) I love it so far, but I don't do all the automatic-posting-of-pictures-immediately-when-taken. But I dig it, anyway.

There is a way to write a blog post on your iPhone and have it automatically publish to your blog...among other cool things...

@Carl Martens: My Blackberry has the capability too...but some of the custom options that my blog requires aren't on there.

Hmmm...depending on what you are referring to you might still be able to do that. I've had the iPhone since last year and have found ways to make all sorts of things possible...perhaps we should continue this conversation in an email or over the phone? Email me with what you are wanting to do and I'll ask my Russian friend if it is possible. The Russians can make the iPhone do just about anything...

    I made the switch.

I'm hoping that someone comes out with some good mapping software for it. Google maps is great but it doesn't do so well at showing trails. I'm in the UK and what I'd really like to see is something with the OS maps.

@Carl Marenss: Most blog software allows you to send an email which posts immediately to the blog. There are also a few software specific apps launched for the iphone that allow you to post from it on the fly. There is a wordpress and a typepad one if I remember right .

This is a little bit off topic but i found a really cool application on the app store called Trailguru that let's you capture your rideand then upload it to view it on Google Earth/Google Maps. Its in the Health and Fitness section -- really cool, check it out ...
